Cub Scout Pack 607 is a traditional pack sponsored by Concord Presbyterian Church. We are now a co-ed pack meaning we have male dens and female dens. The dens are NOT co-ed. We meet every Monday at 6:55PM. The last Monday of some Months is a Pack meeting or outing. That means all dens meet together for fun and advancement awards. The other weeks, each den meets separately to work on advancements for rank. Cub Scouts are divided into dens according to grade level.
1. Kindergarten are Lions
2. First Grade are Tigers
3. Second grade are Wolves
4. Third grade are Bears
5. Fourth grade are Webelos
6. Fifth grade are 2nd year Webelos (or if just joining, goes straight into the male or female Troop)
Scouts work on advancements and rank in dens by making things, playing games, going places to see new things, helping others, learning about our community and country, etc. Other times throughout the year, we interact together as a Pack.
We have many Pack activities and events.
1. Fall Family Camping
2. Scouting for Food
3. Christmas Party
4. Blue and Gold Banquet
5. Scout Sunday
6. Pinewood Derby
7. Cub Scout Olympics
8. Spring Family Camping
9. Summertime Activities
10. Summer Cub Day Camp
We meet regularly August through May. Over the Summer we have Summertime activities which may include hiking/picnic, fishing, water fun day, ice cream social, gem mining, or whatever the scouts and families suggest. These activities are usually different every year. Scouts are keen for adventure and outdoor sports ... they want to have fun and learn how to live outdoors.

Leadership
Our leaders are mostly parents of Cubs. Each den needs at least one leader and at least one assistant leader. Other parents are always encouraged to help as much as they can. Have a burning desire to become a leader? PLEASE let us know. There are always things to be done. There are plenty of leader training sessions available and we are your resources. Have an unusual or interesting hobby that you would like to share? Tell us. Also Youth Protection Training is required to be taken by all leaders and anyone working with the scouts at www.my.scouting.org. Please use your membership number when you sign in. If you do not have your number, contact Melba to find it.
